Hola. My name is Kari Guerra; my students call me Profe (Guerra). I live in Grafton and have been teaching Spanish here at the high school since 2006. Before that I taught Spanish at Cedarburg High School for nine years. I have a Bachelor's degree in Education with a Spanish specialization from UW-Madison. I also have a Master's of Education degree in Professional Development: Teaching from Cardinal Stritch University.
Here at GHS, I teach Spanish 2, El Quinto (a level 3 course), Charlemos (a level 4 conversation course), Latin American Studies, Surprising Spain, AP - Sigamos, Hispanic Films & Literature, and Level 6 Spanish - Independent Study. I am also the Spanish Club Advisor, the World Language Department Chair, and an adjunct teacher at UW - Green Bay.
I enjoy reading, watching my children play soccer, playing with our dog, Doug, and spending time with my family. My husband, two sons, and I especially love to travel. We often travel to and throughout Ecuador in South America, as that is where my husband's family lives.
Feel free to call me at 262-376-5622 or email me at [email protected]
